Our last post was about the new gear the guitarist were sporting, but this post is all about Michael’s spectacular, new Tama kit. This clear concoction of toms, bass, and snare is the same model as drums icons Mike Portnoy (formerly Dream Theater) and Matt Garstka (Animals as Leaders), albeit a smaller version (for now). Today was the first test run of full set up and break down of the kit for gigging. For sure, we need to improve the speed before taking this bad boy on stage. Here are a few more shots from practice:
We’re still writing new material and working hard in preparation for the Battle of the Bands in May at Connect Live. Whether we win or not, we intend to record a 4 song EP this year.
